 Even after the bishop welcomed him. Ugh the audacity!

 Bishop is giving jean a chance to stay and keep him safe and sound.

 In this chapter the bishop opens up his home to Jean Valjean. He had just came out of prison for stealing a loaf of bread. She is confused on why he let her stay in his home. Madame Maglorie does not trust Jean Valjean.

    This semester was unlike any other, very  hectic and all over the place. This year has brought us lots of very unexpected news and events due to Covid-19. It has effected many people in many different ways. For example, Covid has caused the economy to drop which led to peoples jobs and houses being taken away. It has also took the ability for students to go back to school and go on with their learning courses. As a student I believe it has made it hard for many of us to stay on track, but we still need to find a way to get all of our work done and succeed in all of our courses.      I could go on and on about how stressful this year has been for all of us but sometimes we just have to look at the bright side of everything. Which is what we have learned and realized during these times of difficulty. I would've hoped everything went differently and more smoothly this year. School was my way of getting away to interact with people but Covid-19 took that away for many of us. Even t

 In this chapter Madam Magloire is talking bad about the outsiders and wants to convince the bishop to get locks fort his doors. Madam Magloire is scared for their safety. The bishop lets people come in even if they don't know each other.

       This book is mainly about how a bishop which is  Monseigneur Bienvenu lived his life and all the obstacles he had to go through. He went through a lot. He spent time with a man who was convinced that death was the only way to resolve his problems.       Every bishop has most likely had a moment that was been very special and meaningful for them. I think the bishops most special moment was when he helped a guy that was planning on taking his own life. No one else would do it so he did. He prayed and prayed for him. The man was then executed the next day.     Through out the whole book he helps every body who comes through his path in many different ways. The bishop has found a solution to everything the people were in need of. Even if he was at his lowest. My respects go out to him, not every bishop would actually do such good things. This book really does explain to the readers who the bishop really is.

 One of the things that I liked about this course was being to express how we feel on not only in our journals but also with our teacher. He's a very kind man who knows how to respect our opinions while also telling us his.

 This chapter was mainly about how the bishop wasn't very out there we liked to stay unseen. He is a very kind and humble man who just wants to spread the love of god.

 This chapter talks about how the bishop has so muvh sympathy for the people. While other people see each other as "ugly". He's soo kind and sees the good things in everything.

 This chapter is about how lonely the bishop he isolates himself because he doesn't want to be changed by those who have succeeded.
